Cosmetic Dentistry

If you are unhappy with your smile and would like to take steps to improve it, we can help. Some of the cosmetic dentistry treatments are outlined below.

Porcelain Veneers

Unlike a crown, which covers the entire tooth, a veneer is a thin shell that is placed over the front or visible parts of the tooth. There are two types of veneers, ceramic veneers that are produced by a dental laboratory and resin-based composite veneers. With proper care, your new veneers will greatly improve your appearance and increase your confidence for years to come.

Veneers are prescribed for damaged, discolored, or broken teeth The tooth is prepared by eliminating surface structure
After fabrication the veneer is cemented to the prepared toothVeneers restore natural beauty and health of teeth

Smile Makeover

A smile makeover is a comprehensive treatment plan that aims to completely re-imagine and revitalize an individual’s smile. Every smile makeover begins with an in-depth discussion between the patient and our dental team. During this discussion, our dentists can evaluate your oral health, go over your goals for treatment, advise you of your treatment options, and devise a course of action to help you realize the smile of your dreams. Every smile makeover is different, as every patient has unique needs. A number of cosmetic and restorative dentistry treatments can be called upon to help restore the health, function, and appearance of your smile. Whether you’re unhappy with your smile or suffer from severe dental decay, we can bring your smile back to life.

Gum Lifting and Reshaping

A gummy smile – in which the gums encroach on the front surfaces of the teeth, making them appear unhealthy, underdeveloped, and smaller than they actually are – can be corrected through laser gum lifting or laser gum reshaping treatment. When performing laser gum lifting, we apply a medical-grade laser directly onto the gum tissue. Through this process, we can safely eliminate unwanted gum tissue without disturbing the structure of the underlying teeth to create a more natural, more attractive smile. This simple, quick, and safe treatment is highly effective, and can have a significant impact not only on the appearance of your smile, but on your confidence and self-esteem as well.
